After many years of studying Okinawan Karate, Kyoshi David Overstreet opened the World Class Black Belt Academy in Tampa, Florida. Our Dojo is a member of Black Belt Schools of America.

Kyoshi David Overstreet has trained with Mike Lee Kanarek, Hanshi Harold Halterman, Ken Ogawa, Ron Slinker, Bill Clark, Phil Koeppel, Rick Hall, Morio Higaonna, and Steve "nasty" Anderson. He holds a 5th dan Black Belt in Okinawan Shuri Ryu, 6th dan in Goju Ryu, 1st dan in Tae Kwon Do, 6th dan in Aiki Ju Jitsu and 3rd dan in Kobudo. In addition to this, Kyoshi David Overstreet is a licensed instructor in Israeli Tactical Knife and "FIGHT" Haganah. He has also trained in Kung Fu, Iaido-Samurai Sword, and Judo.

After kickboxing in the 1970's and 80's, he has competed and won several championships including US Open National Champion, Southeast Grand Champion, and Florida State Champion, in Kata, Kumite, and weapons.
